The so-called “speedboat killer”, Jack Shepherd, is set to be released from prison after serving half his sentence.

He was sentenced to six years in prison for the manslaughter of Charlotte Brown, after a crash on the Thames in Wandsworth.

A Ministry of Justice source told The Sun that Shepherd has “kept his head down” during his sentence.

The government says it doesn’t comment on individual cases, and that cases are decided by independent judges.
