That’s according to the council which says it is exploring more ways to encourage residents to switch to electric vehicles.
The authority says it wants to make it easier for people to make the switch to owning, renting or sharing one.
But automotive presenter Nicola Hume says it’s not a lack of willingness that is preventing people from going electric.
