A community campaign to get the lifts and escalators at Odeon Wimbledon working again has ended in success

They had been out of action since last November which led visitors to complain on social media. 

Merton councillors then got involved and wrote to the cinema chain highlighting its legal obligations to the public. 

The lift has now been fixed and the escalators are believed to be in the process of also being fixed.
