A man from Croydon who was part of a criminal network which conned people out of thousands of pounds has been jailed.

Belarusian national, Denis Kupcevich, used stolen identities to open bank accounts through which he would launder illicit earnings.

He was tracked down after officers linked banking details in the name of one of his aliases with Deliveroo deliveries to a flat in Croydon.

One victim was defrauded out of almost £160,000 by the gang.

Kupcevich pleaded guilty to all charges against him and has been jailed for 3 years and 4 months for his part in the fraud.
