Chelsea boss Emma Hayes says there can’t be ‘lazy’ discussions on why women players are getting so many knee injuries.

England captain Leah Williamson has been ruled out of the World Cup with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

The injury occurred in this week’s WSL defeat at Manchester City.

Her club team mate Kim Little is also out for the season.
