The scheme, which goes live tomorrow, features new cycle lanes which are separated from motor traffic on most parts of the corridor.
The route starts just north of the junction with Bartlett Street and runs south to Purley High Street.
Improved pedestrian crossings are also included as well as parking bays to help businesses along the corridor.
