South Western Railway says passenger numbers are at just under 80% of what they were before the pandemic.

It says its new timetable, starting on the 22nd of May, “continues to match capacity with demand”.

The operator says its altering its services to provide better service to students in the Weybridge and Chertsey areas.

It’s moving a few services a couple of minutes earlier in the early morning to improve performance and connections.
