Both St George’s and Evelina London Children’s Hospital have put forward bids to house the new centre.
Tooting MP Dr Rosena Allin-Khan says it will lead to cuts to services locally and dilute the amount of specialist knowledge.
Both options will go out for consultation, and services are not expected to move until 2026.
