Emergency crews were called at 8.15pm yesterday to Leigham Court Road, to a collision between a car and a motorbike.
The man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to trace a number of people who are believed to have fled the scene on foot, although there have been no arrests.
