A piece of 1937 Coronation history has gone on display at Wandsworth Town Hall.

It’s a programme from the dinner put on for council employees to celebrate King George VI ascending the throne.

It was sent to the council by Deborah Wright, whose relative attended the  event.

Employees were given a gift of a packet of cigarettes and half a pound of tea as a keepsake of the evening.
