Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been suspended from all football and football-related activity for eight months after breaking FA betting rules.

The England international admitted to 232 breaches between February 2017 and January 2021.

Toney's sanctions have been imposed by an independent regulatory commission following a hearing.

He won't be able to play again until 16th of January 2024 but he can return to training in September.

Toney and Brentford could appeal and are considering their next steps.
