Cash-strapped Croydon Council has published a list of buildings it owns and plans to sell-off in a bid to raise 40-million pounds this financial year

Among the list of 27 properties to be disposed of are the Cherry Orchard Garden Centre, which is staffed by volunteers with disabilities, despite strong opposition from locals.

The Colonnades Retail Park in Purley Way and the old New Addington leisure centre are also on the list.
