Foxes are being culled at a South London nature reserve, sparking concerns from residents that cubs will starve to death without their parents.

The waste management company responsible for restoring the Beddington Farmlands claim the culling is necessary to protect birds on the nature reserve.

The company say an in principle agreement for population control on the site was agreed in a meeting back in December 2020.

Worried residents however, are pushing for other options which can protect both the nesting lapwings and the foxes equally.
