Police have arrested two youths at Norbiton Station after residents reported they were trying to steal bikes in broad daylight.

Officers were called just after 1pm yesterday after it was alleged the pair were using an angle grinder. 

One suspect was detained in a nearby road in possession of an angle grinder and pedal cycle. 

The second suspect dumped the bike he had and ran off but was later arrested.
