Hounslow’s high street seems to be doing better than many areas during the pandemic
Hounslow’s high street seems to be doing better than many areas during the pandemic. Alan Rides, who leads Hounslow chambre of Commerce says footfall in the town centre has recovered to 80 per cent of what it was last year. There is a downside though – the area was the only part of the borough not to see crime rates fall during the lockdown. A Cineworld multiplex is due to be a part of the project, but the company has announced it’s closing all its UK cinemas for now
