It's thought coronavirus patients who've recovered are being put off from donating their plasma because of misconceptions
NHS Blood and Transplant says only 5 percent are coming back to hospital for a transfusion after they've got better. In London, just 297 people have gone on to donate, with 55 in Twickenham and 45 in Tooting. A new donor centre is opening in Croydon. Some fear it might affect their antibody levels. But Stephen Craib from Carshalton, who's donated 15 times since being infected in March, says that's not true.
