A row over pay and conditions is behind bus strikes in London.
Today and tomorrow, members of Unite the Union at Quality
Line in Epsom, who are employed by RATP, are walking out.
They’re among 2,000 across the capital striking this week.
Michelle Braveboy, Regional Director at Unite, says one of
the changes in terms is a 10 hour driving time.
We’ve contacted RATP for comment.
Claire Mann, director of Bus Operations at TfL, says “We
urge all parties to sit down and talk through the issues to try and resolve
them as soon as possible.”
