British Gas workers are back on the picket line in New Malden this afternoon. 

GMB members are striking at Shannon Corner over claims the company “lied” about a threat to fire and rehire thousands of staff.

The move has led to a repair backlog of more than 150,000 homes, with 200,000 routine annual boiler service visits cancelled so far.

Darren, who is one of those striking today, explains they’re hoping to achieve:
