Today, on the National Day of Reflection, the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher has reflected – a year on from the first national lockdown
Staff, volunteers and patients commemorated the one-year anniversary to remember all those who have died during the pandemic. The hospice also hosted an event via Facebook Live at 11.50 am, to share reflections from the past year. Elsewhere, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson took part in a minute’s silence at midday. People are also being encouraged to light a candle on their doorsteps tonight at 8pm.
