Police officers from every London borough have taken part in a day of activities aimed at preventing violence against women

The operation yesterday was undertaken following the disappearance of Sarah Everard in Clapham and her subsequent murder.

Compliance checks were carried out on known offenders and officers visited schools to give safety presentations.

They also visited pubs to talk to staff about how they can help keep their customers safe as the lockdown further eases next week.
