Early designs for a new £500 million hospital in Sutton are going online later this week
The Specialist Emergency Care Hospital will be built next to the Royal Marsden. It’s one of 40 being built up and down the country by 2030, as part of the Government’s £3.7 billion hospital building programme. The first online event is taking place on Thursday between 6 and 7.30pm and you can register via esthplanning.co.uk Epsom
and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust will be developing the plans over
the next few months before sharing how they have developed following feedback
from the community later in the summer. This follows a period of public
engagement and public consultation run by the Improving Healthcare Together
programme, which concluded in July 2020.
