A riding charity in Kingston has launched an urgent fundraising appeal after the pandemic left it in dire straits.

Barnfield Riding School is one of the only Riding for the Disabled Association accredited stables left in the area. 

It’s been operating for nearly 40 years as a stand-alone charity, and costs around £25,000 annually to run.    

Owner, Patsyann Rose, says the joy the horses bring to disabled children, is what’s keeping her going.
