After over six years at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals, the Chief Executive there is leaving to head up the London Ambulance Service. During his time at the trust, Daniel Elkeles led plans and secured funding for the controversial new hospital in Sutton. He says he looks forward to helping shape LAS’s future after the most challenging year in the NHS’s history. Heather Lawrence, Trust chair of the LAS, says his support for volunteers and staff is “well known”.
