Experts from the bomb squad have disarmed an unexploded hand grenade found in a garden in Shepperton

The historic device, as police have described it, was found on Thursday at a residential address in Jessiman Terrace. 

It follows an incident last April in nearby Sunbury where two unexploded devices were found at a local property.
