Firefighters were called to a blaze at a takeaway restaurant on Kingsley Road in Hounslow earlier.

The ducting from the ground floor to the first floor was alight as well as a small part of the ground floor and roof. 

One woman was assessed at the scene by Ambulance crews.

The road was closed while the brigade tackled the fire and still remains closed. 

The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
