Former England under 21s goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli has joined Chelsea on a free transfer for a two-year contract.

The 39-year-old had been out of contract at the Blues’ West London rivals Fulham - where he made 120 appearances.

Chelsea said Bettinelli would “add strength to its goalkeeping resources following the departure of Willy Caballero.”
