The transport secretary's expected to confirm that arrivals from amber list countries won't need to isolate for up to 10 days. The pub and restaurant industry's apparently suffering "carnage" because staff are being forced to self-isolate for 10 days, because they’ve been close to someone who has Covid-19. Those rules are due to be lifted for those double-jabbed in England in August. But trade body, UK Hospitality, wants them brought forward. Ally Wolf runs club nights at the Clapham Grand, and says 12 of his staff are in quarantine, though none have coronavirus.
