The concept of re-wilding needs to be re-addressed.

That’s according to walkers and cyclists who say allowing paths and roads to become overgrown with shrubs and grass is dangerous. 

Councils across London and Surrey are cutting back on verge maintenance to help increase biodiversity. 

But Merton Councillor David Dean says the process of allowing everything to become overgrown, is not real re-wilding.
