The congestion charge is to stay at £15, despite the Mayor of London saying it was going to be a temporary increase

Tony Devenish, Conservative Assembly Member for West London, says three constituents contacted him “within minutes” of the announcement.

He argues that it will hit businesses on weekdays and faith groups on the weekends.

Sadiq Khan says the increase will benefit London’s economy, and has also set the hours back so it ends at 6pm again.
