The people of Brentford are benefitting from the football club going into the Premier League, with a new football pitch.

The 3G pitch at the Green Dragon Lane estate has been partly supported by the club’s community sports trust.

Mayor Bishnu Gurung says “we hope to encourage local children to put their trainers on and become more active”.

The new Brentford Community Stadium will host four games during next year’s Women’s Euro 2022.
