Twickenham’s MP says she’s “horrified” by a lack of reassurance from the Government for parents of school age children.

Munira Wilson wants clarity after new guidance from the minister for Health and Social Care, Nadhim Zahawi, was issued.

He said schools must be prepared to deliver education remotely in the Autumn and failed to rule out school closures if Covid cases rise.

Children will continue to have two supervised tests until the end of September and the vaccination of children constantly under review.

Ms Wilson has said “I am horrified by the Minister's failure to reassure us that schools will open again in September, it is a major blow to every family.  Like so many other parents I had children at home  due to COVID infections.  Parents need this government to get a grip or they will be awarded "F" for failure not freedom.
