20-year-old Welsh international Ethan Ampadu has signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea before going on loan to join Italian side Venezia for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

It is Ampadu’s third loan of his career having also spent time with Sheffield United and RB Leipzig.

He has made 12 appearances for the Blues since joining the team in 2017.
