A care home in Banstead has won an award for keeping its staff trained through the pandemic.

The Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society has been recognised at the Great British Care Awards.

Sharon Hicks, from the home, says it “invests so much time and effort in fostering a culture of learning and development”.

The R.A.S.S has won the South-East award, and will now be up for the national award in September.
