A consultation closes today on whether to continue to ban protests around an abortion clinic in Twickenham.

The ban was put in place in April 2019 and is due to end in March next year.

Since it was introduced, there have been no known breaches, but there have been some reports of vigils just outside the boundary near St Margaret’s station.

Council Leader Gareth Roberts says the ban has had a positive impact for users of the clinic and residents.
