A new stencil campaign by “Mums for Lungs” is trying to create awareness of pollution hotspots.

Warning messages have been imprinted on pavements in places like Kingston where monitors have recorded high pollution levels.

Walking away from the curb or choosing a less busy route are ways recommended to avoid polluted areas.

Mums for Lungs founder, Jemima Hartshorn, says the stencils are alerting people to pollution monitors which can be hard to spot.
