It's hoped the government's expansion of a prison kitchen training scheme will help to reduce reoffending rates in the UK

It could also drive down the 18-billion pounds a year that's spent on repeated crime.

The initiative, which already runs out of HMP Highdown in Sutton, was launched by The Clink Charity in 2009 and will now be offered to a further 70 sites over the next three years.
