The traffic lights at a busy crossroads near Kingston hospital are going to be inspected

It’s after a complaint was made that the red signal can’t be seen because of overgrown vegetation.

The complainant says the foliage blocking the light column on Coombe Lane West where it meets Galsworthy Road is dangerous.

Kingston Council says “vegetation is not part of the rewilding plan but rather our maintenance and pruning programme.”
