22-year-old Kai Davis was stabbed in Clarence Street at around 4am on Saturday.
He was attended by officers and paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Two men were arrested in connection with the murder, one was released with no further action, the other has been bailed.
