Tributes are being paid to a former councillor credited with Wandsworth’s “climb to become one of the top ranked authorities in the country.”

Kathy Tracey served on the council for 29 years.

She was in charge of the council’s leisure and amenities portfolio  for many years as well as children’s services during her time. 

A number of new schools were also opened in the borough under her leadership including Putney Oasis.
