Munira Wilson is rejecting plans that Whitton ward be moved into the Brentford and Isleworth constituency.
She says Whitton has no natural or historical links with Brentford and Isleworth, but it is intimately linked to Twickenham.
Parliamentary constituencies are reviewed periodically by the Boundary Commission for England.
They are sometimes altered to reflect a change in population.
