The busy fly-over links New Malden and Raynes Park.
Some residents have complained about the amount of rubbish accumulating there and its use by flytippers.
Veolia says it regularly clears litter and occasional fly tips.
We’ve asked Merton Council what it is doing to encourage landowners to keep their property clean.
"We attend Shannon Corner regularly to clear wind blown litter and occasional fly tips. Unfortunately, some of the land is privately owned, so it is not accessible to us.
"We work in partnership with Merton Council, which has recently launched their Love Merton campaign to encourage people to take pride in their borough and help to keep it clean by disposing of their waste responsibly. Residents can find more about the campaign and report fly tipping on the council’s website merton.gov.uk/lovemerton.”
