Wandsworth Council says that residents “overwhelmingly backed” the plan to close the junction of Blackshaw Road and Maybury Street.
The road is near St George’s Hospital, but it will be open for emergency vehicles and cyclists.
The change is “likely” to be enforced with a mobile camera unit, as well as new signage and a narrower entryway.
