Boris Johnson has told his new housing secretary to solve the cladding scandal.

The calls for immediate action come four years after 72 people died in the Grenfell Tower in Kensington as a result of dangerous cladding.

Michael Gove was told to address the crisis, which has left homeowners facing crippling bills to repair their homes.

It's after the prime minister acknowledged the £5bn funding to replace the cladding in buildings announced in February won’t solve the problem.
