Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he'll be making a number of changes to his side for tonight's visit from Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge in the League Cup.

He's confirmed goalkeeper Edouard Mendy isn't fit for the third round tie after missing Saturday's win at Tottenham.

The Premier League leaders host Manchester City on Saturday before a midweek trip to Juventus in the Champions League.

Tuchel says he needs to manage the squad carefully.
