Firefighters are reminding people to put out any candles when leaving the room and before bed, after a fire in Clapham

Crews were called just before 1pm on Saturday to Honeywell Road.

Two people left the building before the brigade arrived and were assessed at the scene.

We’re also being urged to make sure candles are on a stable surface and away from anything flammable.
