Further improvements to Sunbury’s dry dock have been unveiled as part of a nine million pound investment programme to improve navigation on the River Thames

The Environment agency says money will b spent on the roof structure and the pumping system. 

There’ll also be new fish-passes at Sunbury weir and Chertsey weir to help fish move up and down the river. 

As part of the biggest programme of spending in a decade The Environment agency is also promising to remove sunken, stranded or abandoned vessels which are currently causing obstruction.
