The council says that the increased usage has meant more rubbish is being left, and there’s growing pressure on the facilities.
As such, they’ll be measuring the number of people using the parks and for how long, to assist with bin emptying and safety measures.
The authority has also announced recently that disabled parking bays in the town centre are to be monitored with sensors as well.
