The pressure is on to get Afghan refugees out of hotels and into permanent accommodation.

 Hounslow, which is finalising plans to offer up housing, has one of the largest Afghan populations in the country.

There are around 4,400 residents which is second only to Ealing - which has the largest Afghan population in London with 6,000 residents.

Labour MP for Feltham & Heston, Seema Malhotra, says the feeling in Hounslow at the moment is  understandably anxious.
