The Surgery Centre at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton has been called “a great example of what a cooperative approach can achieve”

Wimbledon’s Tory MP Stephen Hammond visited the centre on Friday.

It provides surgical teams across South-West London with protected theatre time, to help patients on the waiting list due to the pandemic.

It’s also used to help trainees catch up on lost training time.
