There are plans for councils across London to work more closely with police, NHS and schools to help vulnerable children.

Sutton is leading the scheme in South-West London, and has secured just under £1m to develop it further.

The aim is to find out what needs are poorly met, and how partners can support them.

Councillor Marian James says it means a new system will be developed to better assess physical and mental health requirements.
